Privacy Policy

Version v0.1 (DRAFT) · Effective June 2, 2026

1. Overview

HomeAllClear (“we,” “us”) operates homeallclear.com, an informational directory connecting users with certified home-safety specialists. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

2. Information We Collect

  • Identifiers you submit, such as name, email, phone number, and ZIP/postal code when you request to be matched with a provider or claim a listing.
  • Inquiry details you provide to the AI Triage & Match tool, such as the hazard you are concerned about and your location.
  • Usage data, such as pages viewed and approximate location, collected via privacy-respecting analytics.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

3. How We Use Information

  • To match your inquiry with relevant certified providers and route leads to them.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service and the AI Triage & Match tool.
  • To communicate with you about your inquiry or listing.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud and abuse.

4. How We Share Information

When you ask to be matched, we share the details necessary to fulfill that request with the relevant provider(s) so they can contact you. We also use service providers (for example, hosting, email delivery, and analytics) who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain uses of analytics or advertising technology may be considered “sharing” or “selling” under CCPA/CPRA; you can opt out using the mechanism below.

5. Your CCPA/CPRA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights; we honor verifiable requests where required.

6. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or to make any other privacy request, use one of the methods below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Submit a Do Not Sell or Share request

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require verification of identity and authority. A dedicated opt-out request form is planned and will be linked here at launch.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Each version is dated and numbered above; material changes will be reflected with a new version and effective date.
